I got to hear the new Still Remains album. Along with the new Megadeth. Still Remains is about to be the next big thing, I can feel it. The radio single is phenomenal. There potential is huge. And the new Megadeth...well, there's a song about smoking crack. 'Nuff said.

If you have not heard. Dimmu Borgir has a new album coning out. It's a concept album. Yes, a concept album. Ready? Get this...It's about a priest who realizes he's the antichrist! I freaking love the Norwegians! They're absolutely crazy!
Last time I saw these dudes in a small venue, they scared the shit out of me. If you haven't seen them live yet, you most definately should on this tour! Dimmu Borgir w/ Unearth, Kataklysm and Devil Driver.

New England Metal & Hardcore Festival. It's amazing and you need to experience it to know why. Metal decends on Worcester (Wooster) Mass. and takes over the town. Not only that, but it's Metal Blade Records 25th anniversary! I'll be rocking out all weekend long to the pretty nifty lineup they've acquired thus far...
Bands confirmed for Friday are: Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth, Bury Your Dead, Devil Driver, Walls Of Jericho, Kataklysm, Kylesa, Skinless, The Devil Wears Prada, All Shall Perish, 100 Demons, Nora, The Human Abstract,, Still Remains, Thy Will Be Done, Nachtmystium, December AE, Merauder, Death Before Dishonor, Suicide Silence, Beneath The Massacre, Skeleton Witch, Stick To Your Guns, The Faceless, Blood Runs Black, xDeathStarx, Palehorse, Bloodlined Calligraphy and The Funeral Pyre.

For those of you interested… ESP Guitars has joined forces with Alexi Laiho to create his own Signature Series guitar! It will be available in a black w/yellow trim and a white w/black trim finish. The new Laiho models will be available this spring from ESP dealers in both the ESP and LTD brands.
I can tell you this much of the new IN FLAMES album. It’s going back to the roots, and it’s 10 times better than Soundtrack to Your Escape. With that said and done, they still rock hard live, and they’re hitting the road this winter with metal young bloods TRIVIUM and the mighty DEVIL DRIVER. Joining them in the opening slot will be ZAO.
